Desitin Maximum Strength Paste

I've used a few other diaper creams and ointments. This is the one I like the best so far. A small amount goes a long way to cover up areas that should be covered. It also cleared up existing rash very quickly.

Desitin is the only diaper cream that worked for my baby when he had bad diaper rashes. I've tried Aveeno diaper cream, but it never worked as well. Aveeno just seemed to dissolve and wipe off of the baby's diaper. We even use this product for our NICU babies (with non-yeast related diaper rashes). Great stuff!

As long as your child isn't allergic, desitin is the thing to have on hand. It has kept all my kids nearly diaper rash free. Just a little on every night to protect against wetness and little on the bottom after a dirty diaper and my kids only had diaper rash when they ate something that didn't agree with them or they were sick. The key is not to use it too often though, as it can cause flaky skin that looks similar to a yeast rash. I use A&D ointment after a wet diaper change to prevent this.
