We tried everything with our daughter, nothing helped. All of the white creams (butt paste, desitin) did no good. We tried a&d original and saw tremendous improvement. It creates a barrier that allows the tushie to heal while also preventing further irritation. It's thick and essentially it's like using petrlolium jelly. It has a light smell, not sweet but not medicinal. Give it a try, you'll be investing in the large tub before you finish the first tube! (BTW: the large tub is a much better deal.)
This is the best ointment out there for baby butts!! It doesn't stick like cement like some of the pastes do. Everyone should have a tube of this in their diaper bags and along side the changing table! Great for adults too!
